Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020). She was also a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot television series New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents and her fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and earned an GED. She continued to get a Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
